This is the brass
and gold Hermes lighter owned by Dietrich. It was called her
"lipstick" lighter, and was the lighter she used during her
cabaret performances in Las Vegas and London. It was a gift to Marlene from
Noel Coward, who felt that her smoking was "as important to her as make
up". The leather case says "Hermes". |
