"Death Watch"
starring Romy Schneider, Harvey Keitel & Max von Sydow. Enter a future
civilization where television does virtually anything to get high ratings,
and there is almost nothing left that viewers haven't seen. To help solve
audience boredom, an ambitious director comes up with the ultimate ratings
grabber: a televised death. He implants a camera in producer Keitel's brain
and asks him to shoot a documentary about a dying woman (Schneider) without
her knowing it. Keitel is able to win her confidence, and "Death
Watch" has begun. |
