This historic 1993
postal issue made Barbara Streisand the first living entertainer to appear
on a postage stamp anywhere. Barbara herself selected the photo used for this
issue. It was issued to mark her 1993 World Concert Tour and was given out
on opening night as a gift from Barbara to all in attendance at the MGM
Grand in Las Vegas. Due to Barbara's worldwide popularity, this issue sold
out fast and has been very hard to come by. |
