Her last appearance on record, together with another Abba member, was in the autumn of 1987, when she was part of an all-star choir of Swedish female singers featuring on the title track of Benny's album 'Klinga mina klockor.'

----------

In 1987 Frida decided to officially withdraw from the music business. She even wrote a letter to her fan club, asking it to shut down.

----------

The most boring film she has ever seen was 'Gå på vattnet om du kan' ('Walk On Water If You Can'), the Swedish 1979 movie she herself had a part in.

----------

The song 'Slowly' which featured on her 1984 solo album 'Shine' is special in that it marks the last time to date that either Frida or Agnetha has recorded an original Anderson/Ulvaes composition.

----------

During the Abba years, when Frida was asked which her favorite artists were, she would often mention soul and funk acts like Stevie Wonder, Rufus, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

----------

She discovered Phil Collins' first solo album 'In The Air Tonight' in the summer of 1981 and played it every single day for eight months.

----------

Frida was one of the backing vocalists on the 1975 international hit 'Moviestar' by Swedish singer Harpo.

----------

Anni-Frid doesn't like it when people  address her as 'Frida' claiming she's only 'Frida' when on stage.

----------

When recording her 1996 album 'Djupa Andetag' Anni-Frid asked Agnetha to sing with her on the duet "Alla mina bästa år". Agnetha declined.

----------

ABBA's 'Dancing Queen' has replaced The Village People's 'YMCA' as the official gay anthem.

----------

She's a personal friend of Sweden's King and Queen and was part of the team that organized Queen Silvia's 50th birthday gala in December 1993.

----------

Anni-Frid's Swedish version of 'Fernando' was the original version and was released well before ABBA's English version.

----------

Her late husband, German Prince Ruzzo Reuss von Plauen, inherited his title from his father Enzio. The family ruled the Reuss sovereignty in the former East Germany up until 1918.

----------

Anni-Frid appeared in three movies : as herself in 'ABBA - The Movie' (1977), as Anna in 'Gå På Vattnet Om Du Kan' (1979) and finally as Louise in 'Jokerfejs - Härenstams Blandning' (1984). She also provided the voice of Magi Lune, one of the characters in the Swedish language version of the cartoon movie 'Ferngully' (1993).

----------

Blancmange's 1984 version of  'The Day Before You Came' and Westlife's 2000 version of 'I Have A Dream' are the only covers of ABBA songs to reach a higher position in the British charts than the Swedish quartet's original versions.
