Divas - The Site appreciates your votes and comments. Here are some of the little gems you chose to share with us.

Lynell (USA) on Diana Ross
"She keeps her eyes on the prizes, and will get it!"

Aaron (USA) on Diana Ross
"She's beautiful, has the sexiest, most emotional female voice that has ever been recorded in history. The first time I heard that voice on the radio in the late 60's I knew she had to be beautiful visually and the way her voice seemed like she was singing directly to me actually gave me goose bumps. I had to see what she looked like. When I saw her I couldn't believe she was so beautiful really and so much charm and personality. Just so alive and such a zest for life. I have almost every album she ever made in the U.S. and I consistently keep her in my cd player both at home and in the car. Her music is so inspiring and her voice is like a gift from the angels in heaven. Listening to her always makes me feel so special and makes me believe in myself even on the worst day of my life. That was when my mom died and all that night I just listened to Diana Ross sing about love. It made me miss my mom and cry so deeply that night that I had no idea how powerful her music is. The variety of songs and genres of music is just unparalled by any other female artist. The Guiness Book of records just recertified Diana Ross again in 2007 as still the most successful female artist in recorded music history. More power to you girl. You go little missy. "Gone Girl, you know you got that""

Megan (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross is my fav diva because she is strong. I love her voice. She inspired me to start singing. She knows what she wants!"

Michael (UK) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross deserves every inch of red carpet she happens to walk upon- because she has earned it!"

Vicky (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is and always has been the total package- voice, style, glamour, wit, charm, fierceness, and above all else- talent in everything from concerts, albums, film, television and Broadway!"

Shan (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is beautiful, talented, glamourous, soulful, sexy, smart, sensative, strong, confident, exceptional, uncomprable, expressive, misunderstood, and did I say talented.  Absolute favorite diva... bar none."

MeMe (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is a Renaissance woman. Actress, Singer, just phenomenal. She paved the way for today's female singers/actresses. Remember before there was a Beyonce, there was a Diana Ross."

Ramal (USA) on Diana Ross
"The term Diva was created for Ms. Ross.  Before she was christened, I'd really never even heard the word used.  Ms. Ross is the Diva by which all other Divas (existing and wanna-be) are and should be measured."

Kent (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the Supreme Diva of them all. They all need to take a lesson from her and her career."

Jesse (USA) on Diana Ross
"Her voice is full of emotion. She moves me and through her I have learned of other kinds of music.  She adores her fans and it shows at every concert."

Matthew (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is an inspiration to all African-Americans that we can leave the projects and don't forget where we came from. Blacks tend to hate her because they actually believe she sold out.  She didn't sell out, she crossed over from the chittlins circuit to singing songs that other white musicians were singing. Just watch TCB. She is the one who did what she had to do and paved the way for many black women today.  When she wore wigs and eyelashes in the sixties women bought the very same item the following next day. A diva sets the tone and she can infuriate others by her presence.  Remember Barbra Streisand was heated when Miss Ross sang Funny Girl.  Ms. Streisand saw her as an threat. There are three icons who were loved by gay men - Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and Miss Ross.  She is no bother for anything. She is truly a ultimate legend who has been around for four decades.  In closing, you may not like her but you definitely know who she is. The one and only diva. There is only one Diana Ross and we will never have another again. She has set the standards."

Todd (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross is the ultimate diva. She has it all (beauty, glamour, talent, ambition, resilience) and has done it all (18 #1 hits, an Oscar nomination, a special Tony Award, lifetime achievement awards). Moreover, as the first true black female superstar, she directly and indirectly shaped an entire generation. Whether they like to admit it or not, the massive pop success of everyone from Donna Summer to Whitney Houston to Brandy would not have been possible without the achievements of Diana Ross - achievements heretofore thought unattainable by a woman of color."

Ty (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross is the ultimate performer, she has style, class and grace and she has always been a role model to her fans, and most of all she has raised a beautiful family and has been an outstanding mother, what more can we ask for in a diva! Diana fills her pumps very well. Thank you Lady Diana, you are a true American Princess!"

Joseph (USA) on Diana Ross
"Her talent and beauty make her the 8th natural wonder of the world!"

David (UK) on Diana Ross
"The very best in her field - the greatest diva of all time - no one will ever have her overall qualities - she is the Boss and always will be."

Straus (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has stood the test of "Time." She is as current today as she was 40 years ago. The voice is incredible. Her style is fashionable. She is indeed the Ultimate Diva. Today, tomorrow, and forever... Diana."

Andrew (UK) on Diana Ross
"God ! That lady was determined! When you think she has been in the business for 40 years you gotta say "wow". She was the first diva to cross the white barrier. Also she gives divas in training to shoot for. Ms Ross is Boss."

Alfred (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the classic entertainer! Beauty, elegance, voice, everything!"

M.F. (Holland) on Diana Ross
"She has style, she is every woman, she can touch u in your soul and heart."

Garth (UK) on Diana Ross
"Besides the voice and style, the woman has more class and sophistication than any other woman in her genre."

Lorenzo (USA) on Diana Ross
"... because she is the Supreme Lady and the Supreme Diva. She has style, talent, success, she's beautiful, she's a survivor, a fighter , a mother, sister. Lastly, her music will last forever."

Graham (UK) on Diana Ross
"She is without doubt the ultimate diva, long lasting, always there, supreme superstar, a true original. All other so called divas may aspire but stand in line because they should all pay homage to the boss."

Jeff (USA) on Diana Ross
"... because she is magic, truly one of the last living legends. She is the consummate performer. It was negative press in the 60's that brought me to her, and it is lack of press that keeps me with her to this day and always."

Kieron (UK) on Diana Ross
"There is only one true diva with class, talent and glamour and that is Diana Ross. An ageless diva who spans many spectrums!"

Steven (USA) on Diana Ross
"It takes a diva to grab an air security guard!"

Eugene (USA) on Diana Ross
"Her voice is silk, her face is timeless, her hair is outrageous and she has a heart of gold - She is total glamour."

Kirk (UK) on Diana Ross
"Attitude, sex, vibrancy, sheer comeback power, style, chic and glamour, oh and those costumes!"

David (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana! She's got that get'up and keep it'up bodaciousness that makes a survivor. Often enormously misquoted, and given slack disregard by today's radio, she has overcome many obstacles, including prejudice for being a woman, for being black, and for standing up in the face of adversity to these things. Diana Ross is stunning, an all-around world class entertainer, and one of the 20th, and now 21st century icons that has impacted our consciousness in boundless ways... there is only one Diana Ross, and we acknowledge how indebted we are to this legendary talent."

Dave (USA) on Diana Ross
"She sustains and maintains!"

Lamont (USA) on Diana Ross
"It was tough. At first I was tempted to vote for Marlene. (Without a doubt the ultimate glamour diva) But the more I thought about it, the more I became convinced that Ross was arguably the better choice. Glamourous, tempestuous, imperious, talented, shrewd, ruthless, beautiful and most of all successful. She represents everything a true diva is supposed to be, both good and bad. There are other performers, singers with larger gifts, actresses with more talent and greater sensitivity. But there is something almost of a bygone era about her. Something larger than life, iconic. She is glamourous and somehow, always fascinating. In other words she's a real diva."

Michael (USA) on Diana Ross
"Combining past, present and future - a standard by which all other are judged."

Chris (USA) on Diana Ross
"A true diva in every way. She has the voice of an angel and the charm and personality and attributes that qualify her as the ultimate diva."

Mike (USA) on Diana Ross
"Miss Ross is the ultimate diva. She is the super diva supreme or just supreme diva will do. Total beauty and class."

Randy (USA) on Diana Ross
"No woman that I know of can come on stage and without saying one word or singing one note, can command an audience except Miss Ross. She is the ultimate diva!"

Steve (USA) on Diana Ross
"Others act like divas, but with Diana, it's the real thing.  She is a great star in the mold of Bette Davis and Joan Crawford - a true star, not one of these spoiled children you see these days. Deep down, she has the iron will of  a survivor and the heart of a killer - I love her."

Mikel (Spain) on Diana Ross
"To me she is the only real diva: wonderful voice, looks and the most thrilling female singer. It makes you emotional and her songs and personality are an inspiration to a lot of people."

Les (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has transcended over 40 years of music and film with grace, beauty and charisma.  She epitomizes class in her industry."

John (USA) on Diana Ross
"Successful career and at one time managed performing, marriage, and 5 children... All turned out incredible. Rare example for any diva to achieve."

Aaron (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the definition of a diva, temperament-wise, her physical beauty and she's a truly talented and gifted artist. She has the best clothes and is not afraid to be adventurous and take chances, no matter what."

Slim (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross was the first pop singer/actress that the media referred to as being "pop diva”. Miss Ross is the truest and ultimate of divas since she never really knew she was a diva in the first place... until people told her she was. Ross does exactly what comes naturally to her. Her style, her image, her flair, her professional tastes, and her various looks, may very well be the standing effigy of "the diva”. Quite often Diana Ross is criticized. Equally as often others imitate her and have no problem saying that they (themselves) are a diva. Word to Miss Ross… Imitation is the highest form of flattery."

Jen (USA) on Diana Ross
"I have been a fan since 1999 when I first saw Double Platinum after renting it at the video store. My parents had to take it back late because I kept watching it. Since then I have started a Diana Ross cd collection, surfed every Diana Ross site, ordered Double Platinum and Diana Ross's autograph off eBay and found out every possible tidbit of information about her!"

Wetisby (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is my favorite diva because I have watched her grow, and blossom, and flourish, rather than, deteriorate, abash, and look as if she is self destructing."

Randy (USA) on Diana Ross
"Other so called divas have to have a hook or gig like sex or dirty mouth, they have to compete with others and really try to reach divahood, Miss Ross just has to be seen and really not even heard. She is the ultimate diva!"

Darrell (USA) on Diana Ross
"What other choice could there be? She has style, presence, and charisma. And that voice! Unique. Attend one of her shows - it is as if she were performing only for you. And she is just a fabulous human being. And a wonderful mother - she has never let her stellar career interfere with her children. What a woman!"

Dino (Canada) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross inspired me to "come out" and to pursue a career in the creative arts. Since 1976 I have covered a lot of ground. Whenever there were high moments and low moments, her music and creative endeavors were always present to see me through a wonderful journey."

Sharon (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has it all... the Struggle behind her to get where she is... the perseverance to stay on top, whether in song, movies or tabloids! The style and glamour to move into each decade and God's Grace to keep her beautiful and spiritual and like a true diva self-centered. I love her."

Jon (UK) on Diana Ross
"The hell, nerve, guts, snobbishness, haughtiness, class, wealth, bitchiness, tantrum throwing, little girl, coquettishness, ageless, fashionable, ground-breaker, record breaker, refusing to share, motherhood, hip, old, owner, money hungry, whirlwind of a talent that she is."

Nicole (USA) on Diana Ross
"I chose Diana Ross because she is a very interesting, nice and beautiful person. I love Diana Ross and her music. Even once she sent me a letter. I sent her one and she sent me one. I respect her and that. That's why I chose her (Ms. Diana Ross, I  love you!"

Jon (UK) on Diana Ross
"... cos she is demanding, trivial, a perfectionist, oddly beautiful, an achiever, ambitious, money hungry, classy, stylist, haughty, regal, young, hip, sexy, in tune, businessperson, black, deceitful, pretender, Queen, lazy, glittering in a bling bling kind of way, always hysterical in private - never in public, lastly for Motown."

Franz (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross is my favorite diva because she is very talented and glamorous!"

Randall (France) on Diana Ross
"Class, beauty, unrivaled bitchiness and a voice. Eat your heart out Whitney, Mariah and other also-rans!"

Hubert (USA) on Diana Ross
"Attitude, style, glamour, allure, takes no shit from folks, grand dame!"

Sue (Australia) on Diana Ross
"... because of her voice. It is so diversified. She can sing anything."

Straus (USA) on Diana Ross
"Beautiful, strong, in charge! Diana has stood the test of time. She is ultimately the Supreme Diva. A survivor, an accomplished person, a legend ... worth of being called a Diva. This lady continues to be relevant and interesting."

C.G. (Holland) on Diana Ross
"She has a very special voice!"

Kevin (USA) on Diana Ross
"There is only one, and there will never be another Diana Ross.  Point blank, nothing more need be said."

Julie (Australia) on Diana Ross
"... because she is beautiful and has a wonderful voice."

Brad (USA) on Diana Ross
"Supreme Diva! You have to admit that the title itself is more than just a pun. Supreme Diva is the very definition of Diana Ross! She is my all time Goddess! She is also human. She is not perfect. Perfection is a static and therefore a boring state. She has her limitations (I do hope that I'm not overstating this 'negativity') but it is within her range that she reigns Supreme. Her voice and her beauty are glorious to behold! Despite her 'diva' image, she has real depth and philosophical maturity and a willingness to keep growing spiritually. She is a true icon for all time! History will confer upon her an even greater 'legitimacy' than she is accorded now. She knows herself ... doesn't take herself too seriously, and yet is proud to be called a diva. It is a mantle she wears with Supreme dignity and grace."

Kevin (UK) on Diana Ross
"Diana has stood the test of time, with over 4 decades of chart hits she will always remain supreme."

Leon (USA) on Diana Ross
"Persona, beauty, staying power and a true artist and performer for her audiences. Always a trend setter!"

Drew (Australia) on Diana Ross
"Fantastic soul diva. Beautiful and talented singer/actor."

John (Australia) on Diana Ross
"Dynamic and filled with pathos and soul.
Vulnerable and strong in the same amounts.
Heart-filled, dynamic and unpredictable. A phrasing voice which captivates."

Herbert (USA) on Diana Ross
"Style, glamour and that voice so sweet, the star quality she has always had."

M.D. (UK) on Diana Ross
"Just pure magic!"

Ma sean (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has class, elegance, and a wonderful voice."

Quinton (South Africa) on Diana Ross
"I have been a major big fan of Diana Ross since the age of 9 years old, she totally mesmerized me as a child then, she still does now that I'm an adult, she's' glamorously beautiful, successful, exudes intelligence, poise with exceptional stage personality with supremely Ross-style! She is the diva of all divas, a true legend of our time to date within the history of the music industry!"

Michael (Spain) on Diana Ross
"I was raised listening to her music for four decades now. She is part of my personal soundtrack."

Merrou (France) on Diana Ross
"She has a good voice, makes good music and she's beautiful, but I love Aretha Franklin like Diana Ross. They are the best."

Ketsia (France) on Diana Ross
"I love Diana Ross because back in her days she inspired a lot of artists - new and ,old - and introduced The Jackson 5 and others. She believed in other people's talents, supported their dreams and she still does. I wish I had her as my coach or producer to guide me spiritually. One more thing, I want to thank Diana Ross for making me famous, everywhere I go people say I look like her - identical - and 3 times I've been asked if we're related, I said God bless us every day."

Cassandra (USA) on Diana Ross
"She's the original diva and she is so talented. Very graceful and classy. Can sing like an angel."

Timothy (USA) on Diana Ross
"She continues to inspire me to higher ground. Her music continues to help through whatever I'm going through at that time. I've been a fan of hers since I was 3 years old. 'Every day is a New Day'."

Craig (USA) on Diana Ross
"The very best entertainer with the most successful career. So many hit songs over a span of decades. Also I admire her for raising five children throughout this amazing career. She is an awesome role model for many generations, especially in this time of new artists who simply lip sync and show off their bodies. Diana Ross is so talented. Can't wait to see more of her in the coming years!"

Magnus (Sweden) on Diana Ross
"The one and only!"

John (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is absolutely the best entertainer in the last 50 years."

Ed (Holland) on Diana Ross
"Diva = Glamour. For me, she is the 'supreme'
glamour lady. When she performs, it is
electrifying."

Kevin (UK) on Diana Ross
"She has always been around and holds a record in UK for having a hit every year for 33 years. Who is ever going to beat that?"

Kenny (USA) on Diana Ross
"... because she is simply the best. Style, class, grace and an incredible voice. She is love."

Harry (USA) on Diana Ross
"Who else could it be?"

Straus (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana is strong, accomplished, determined, beautiful, and talented."

Jordan (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana has style. Everything she does, she does it with class. She expects the best from herself and others around her. She is listed in Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful female singer of all time. Whenever you hear her voice, you instantly know that it is Diana. Her voice is a blend of milk & honey and she sings like she is floating on a cloud. She is an excellent story teller and doesn't just sing the lyrics, she lives them. Her style and voice are universal. There has never been and never will be anyone like her. Everything this woman does, she does it with style. She has opened doors for all who have followed in her footsteps. As a Supreme she gave hope to black women that anything was possible. It was the first time many had seen glamorous black women on TV. They were supreme royalty who went in through the same door as white performers. There would have never been a Bodyguard movie with Whitney Houston if Diana had not made it acceptable for a black woman to star in a major movie with a white male costar. She brought interracial marriage into focus and made it acceptable. The Concert in New York's Central Park, the many TV specials; and the Halftime Show at the Superbowl - all firsts for a black woman, and maybe for any woman. Every black person in America owes Diana Ross a debt of gratitude for standing up for her rights at London's Heathrow Airport when she was being groped by security. Most people just take it, but Diana said, you have no right to touch me like that. It is well known that well dressed black women are often targeted, harassed, and stripped searched because of racial profiling. They are said to be more likely to be smuggling drugs. The AFLCIO is currently involved in lawsuits to stop this racial profiling. She is a role model for black women, having lived a very public life for nearly 40 years without a hint of scandal. Diana has never been to the Betty Ford clinic for drinking & drugs like so many others. She has also raised 5 kids and by their own account, Diana has been a wonderful mother. She rocks!"

Ralph (USA) on Diana Ross
"She focuses on the positive even in times of stress and has always been a role model for me."

Henry (USA) on Diana Ross
"Just incredible!"

Donald (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross is a lady and I am proud of what she represents and has (and WILL) accomplish as an African American woman."

Lisa (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is It and always will be!"

Eugene (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has paved the way for so many. Instilling class, glamour, talent and determination. She fights for who she is and what she believes in. She not only is a superstar but a wonderful mother of five. She is the boss - the queen of entertainment!"

Markus (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the ultimate diva of song - unparalleled!"

Ken (USA) on Diana Ross
"She's the Boss. Gives the best live concerts."

Nico (Holland) on Diana Ross
"... because of everything."

Howard (USA) on Diana Ross
"That voice!"

Terry (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross exemplifies true divaness. She has a great voice and dynamic and commanding presence on and off stage. In my opinion she is royalty and demands to be treated as such and I do not think that's to much to ask for. She can be cut throat, temperamental, and demanding but for the same token she can be generous, loving and appreciative of God's blessing. She has appeal to a broad audience and is revered in the music industry. She is the only female artist I've seen walk on a stage without performing and her mere presences commands a standing ovation. Diana is a true diva because she is the complete package. Where some divas may have the voice and personality but lacks in wardrobe/style, Diana has it all."

Sharini (Singapore) on Diana Ross
"The powerful and wonderful voice just makes my day! All the songs that she sang are all so wonderful. Her soul songs are so very meaningful. Her voice is very powerful. Go on and reach out somebody's hand!"

Julie (Australia) on Diana Ross
"... because she has always been an idol of mine and I would like to be able to sing like her."

Charles (USA) on Diana Ross
"... because Mrs. Ross is The Supreme Diva, Grand Diva, The Ultimate Diva, and Divas of All Divas."

Jason (USA) on Diana Ross
"I love the way she portrays herself on and off stage.  She makes it look so easy."

John (USA) on Diana Ross
"There are many great artists. But only one true diva left!"

Feo (USA) on Diana Ross
"She rulz!"

Simon (USA) on Diana Ross
"She's the Boss!"

Olivier (France) on Diana Ross
"... because she's the beautiful and the dynamic one. She always wears magnificent gowns and this inimitable make up (the eyes). She has this so special voice which made her famous. And she is a real diva."

Luciano (Italy) on Diana Ross
"She's good. And my boyfriend says I have to vote or else..."

Tim (Australia) on Diana Ross
"One word - tenacity. The lady has it by the truckload."

Edward (USA) on Diana Ross
"... because she is the Boss!"

Straus (USA) on Diana Ross

Neil (UK) on Diana Ross
"After four decades of music and movies, with recording some of the best songs ever and she has the personality of a supreme diva!"

"Just superb!"

Reggie (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is so pretty she recreates herself time and time again her voice is nice and smooth and I love her music."

Ian (UK) on Diana Ross
"I have listened to Diana Ross' music since I was five years old and have never grown tired of her. Her songs are classy, soulful and timeless. I see her perform now and she is still pure magic. Her beautifully smooth, breathy voice is soothing and uplifting to hear and I just love her recent recording 'Every day is a new day' which if anything proves she is still more than capable of making great, modern, groovy R and B/soul music. Her career deserves to be widely recognized for its successful longevity and the inspiration she is to many new performers today. A living legend! I just can't wait till she brings out another album as her last one was miserably ignored by critics despite being a stunning set. Go Diana!"

Susan (USA) on Diana Ross
I love her music, she is a great performer.

Michael (USA) on Diana Ross
The Glamour!

Katie (USA) on Diana Ross
Diana has accomplished so much, come so far and proved so much. She's amazing! She has a wonderful voice and even after she has been through she has always carried on. She is a true diva. She has such an amazing impact on people including me. And there is so much more why she is my fav diva! I could go on and on!

Donald (USA) on Diana Ross
What a remarkable talent.  She has been in the limelight for almost 40 years and always manages to thrill and captivate.  She was the leader of the most successful girl groups in history and an accomplished solo artist in her own right.  In addition to her singing career has had some success' on the big and small screen.  Simply, a living legend with no plans to disappear.

Dave (UK) on Diana Ross

Hennie (Holland) on Diana Ross
"She is simply the best!"

Jay (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the American Dream come true. She had a dream, worked hard and achieved her goal. She is a role model for other stars - family oriented, not a big drinker, no drugs and committed to her fans. She gives 100%."

Steve (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the best songstress ever."

Rod (USA) on Diana Ross
"... because she wasn't simply a diva for black or white people, she has been a top-notch entertainer for all the races and creeds. She was one of the first true crossover successes and paved the way for many, many others both at Motown and at other companies. Her career has allowed her to touch every aspect of her career from dance (see the Hollywood Palace shows form the '60 with Sammy Davis Jr.), movies (LSTB, Mahogany, The Wiz, Out of Darkness, Double Platinum), concerts, Broadway (An Evening with Diana Ross, which won a special Tony Award) and - of course - the recording studio. her voice and appearance is known world-wide and she is a symbol of beauty, grace, sophistication and talent."

And she has been challenged throughout from every avenue of adversity and her love for her fans, the music, and the business has never diminished. She put the D in Diva. TJ (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has done it all, with success. She is a beacon of hope for young black women. Her onstage presence is unique and effervescent and she is pop's undisputed princess, hailing from the sweet soul music area. She's powerful, commanding and unique. Oh, that voice is unique, too. And the clothes - all divas need to look at the Supremes' wardrobe and take notes!"

Adrian (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross has lasted the test of time. Some think she clawed her way to the top. I view her as a strong woman who knew what she wanted and set her goals high. She has attained everything she set out to from the beginning. The current divas of the year 2000 are the ones who grew up trying to emulate Diana Ross.  They can have short lived success while attempting to imitate but Miss Ross is the one with the 40 year successful career that they can only dream of having one day."

Mark (USA) on Diana Ross
"I have loved Diana Ross since I was four years old when I saw the Motown 25 special. She has a great voice and is very sexy."

Ed (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross has been my favorite singer since 1964. To my ear, she has the most distinctive and emotive voice in recording history. Her voice is instantly recognizable. I identify major stages in my life with songs that she (alone and with the Supremes) recorded. She is also one of the most unfairly criticized singers of our time. Radio stations refuse to play her current work. Although she is one of the most successful popular singers of this century, she has (unbelievably) never won a single Grammy award. I like cheering for the 'underdog.'"

Linda (USA) on Diana Ross
"She has style, grace, beauty, and a voice to die for. She is the Supreme Supreme."

Wayne (USA) on Diana Ross
"She's all that and so much more! She has past the ultimate test of time. She's still kicking and has influenced so many of the upstarts of today, whether they admit it or not! That's why she is the all-time Diva of all-time!"

Basil (USA) on Diana Ross
"She is the ultimate woman."

nn (USA) on Diana Ross
"Diana Ross is the only performer who has glamour, talent as a singer, actress and live performer.  Her career spans four decades.  She is undoubtedly the supreme diva."

Kent (USA) on Diana Ross
"No one like the Boss. No one is better live in concert. She radiates on stage like no other no matter what stage that may be ... singing in the rain in Central Park before 800,000 people or Radio City Music Hall. There's only one Diana Ross!"

Wayne (USA) on Diana Ross
"She remains beautiful at her age and continues to inspire me thru her music. Though she has not been blessed with the greatest of voices, she has that tonal quality and vocal nuances that have captivated me for almost forty decades. She possesses that special aura that only a true Divine Diva has - distant, but yet soo close, almost in a spiritual way! She is able to convey that in person and in and on film (still and motion). She is timeless as all true Divas must be. She has my vote and always will. She's at the top of my list!"

Peter (USA) on Diana Ross
"Everything about her has a breathless "ain't no mountain high enough" air. She has covered almost every major music style of the last 40 years. She was the Motown Sound. She has redefined glamour while breaking down racial and sex barriers. And she has made it look effortless. Diana is a musical legend and one of the truly great Americans."
