KIDS! Who needs them?

Apparently a lot of our Divas did, regardless of two A.M. feedings, photo-op promenades in the park (the logistics of which would make the storming of the Bastille seem like a picnic), and the mysterious (and always messy) diseases of childhood. But wait a minute... many of our Divas had houses positively crammed with staff, all ready, willing, and able to cater to the tykes' every whim, so it couldn't have been much trouble at all... right?

Whether the babes were naturally acquired... bought out of state... immaculately conceived... or even borrowed, many of the great ladies of screen and stage considered children an important part of their lives. And what a legacy! These kids were loved, fussed over, ignored, swatted, disciplined, encouraged, and often brought up kicking and wailing because they just didn't seem to want to adhere to Mummy's dictates. In that respect, some of our more clever ladies chose four-legged companions to spend their latter years with, but that's a whole other site!
